Management programs - Admission requirements

Documents required to apply

For the pre-check of your qualification for a marketing program in Berlin at ISM, please submit the following to the study advisor at Berlin campus:

School-leaving certificate for Bachelor (if available)
Bachelor degree certificate for Master (if available)
Transcript of records (translated in English)
Brief curriculum vitae (CV)
Copy of passport or national ID card
If available for Bachelor: certificate of language skills, for example TOEFL, IELTS or proof of graduating an English-taught degree (compulsory for Master).

Upon examination and successful verification of your documents, you will be able to register for an online admission test.

Application period and timeframes

ISM does not have strict application dates, but international?applicants who require a study visa please submit the application documents by

December 15th for the Management Bachelor program that starts in spring term
July 15th?for the Management Master program that starts in fall term.

The admission test is valid for 1 year, so we recommend that you start applying even before having your final school leaving certificate in order to save time and secure yourself study free discounts of up to 1,500 Euro.

FAQ – Management programs

How long does an international management degree take?

As a rule, you can complete your Bachelor degree full-time in 6 semesters (3 years) and earn 180 ECTS credit points and a Master degree in 4 semesters (2 years) with 120 ECTS.

A semester abroad at a partner university is an integral part of each of our full-time study programs in order to ensure expanding your intercultural competencies and knowledge base.

During the undergraduate management degree (bachelor), you have the opportunity to complete an additional seventh semester overseas if you pick the "Global Track". This option is elective. For more information, contact our Bachelor study advisors.

For master of management applicants, ISM offers a Double Degree option, enabling them to obtain two internationally recognized master degrees while writing just one thesis. The duration of the double degree program depends on the foreign university. Request more information from the study advisors.
